CCS is responsible for providing quality assurance inspections for dredging operations including disposal area construction, beach re-nourishment, bank stabilization, hydrographic surveying, hydraulic and hopper dredging, and revetment construction. CCS inspectors are currently assisting the Corps of Engineers along harbors, rivers and the Gulf of Mexico in various locations in FL, AL, and MS.
Container Berth 8 on the Savannah River – GA Ports Authority
CCS provided a resident project representative to oversee construction of this 420,000 square foot facility to expand the Georgia Ports. Our representative was responsible for quality assurance, adherence to plans and specifications, and conflict resolution.
GA Department of Transportation District 3 / District 7 Construction Engineering Inspection – GA Department of Transportation
CCS provides construction engineering inspection services, quality assurance, contract administration, documentation, and general contract compliance for various roadway and bridge projects in District 3 and District 7 for the GA department of Transportation.
US 84 / SR 38 Ware County, GA - GA Department of Transportation / EMC Engineering Services, Inc.
CCS is responsible for providing the signing and marking plans, as well as the right-of-way plans for 2 highway widening projects in south Georgia.  The 2 projects span approximately 12 miles and consist of widening an existing 2 lane federal highway to a 4 lane divided highway / 5 lane non-divided highway.
US 80 / SR 26 Bulloch County, GA - GA Department of Transportation / EMC Engineering Services, Inc.
CCS is responsible for providing the signing and marking plans as well as the right-of-way plans for 2 highway widening projects in Statesboro, Georgia.  The 2 projects span approximately 5 miles and consist of widening an existing 2 lane federal highway to a 4 lane divided highway and improving an existing 4 lane highway.
Fleming Office Building, Liberty County, GA - I.L. Fleming Construction Co.
CCS provided the civil site development plans for a 5000+ square foot office building, parking lot, septic system, draining ditch, and detention pond with outfall structure.  The site plans included staking and utility plan, paving, grading, and drainage plan, erosion and sediment control plan, landscape plan, and construction details.
Southwest Quadrant Water and Sewer Utilities, Savannah, GA - City of Savannah / Kimley-Horn and Associates
CCS is providing construction inspection services and quality assurance on a large utility installation for the City of Savannah.  The project includes the installation of water line, gravity sewer line, force main, 3 pump stations, and a well and tank site.
